Tickets now available for the fourth annual Science Slam, 14 July 2016
The fourth annual Science Slam will take place on 14 July 2016 at the Cottier Theatre in Hyndland. Eight PhD students will present their research on such varied topics as how people with dyslexia make decisions, reconstructing the climate of the North American prairies eco-region, and how in-car gestures to control systems can make driving safer - and much, much more!
This event encourages students to present their research in a unique way, and there is absolute freedom to interpret the brief in creative ways and to do something the audience has never seen before. We haven’t had dance or poetry yet but we have had a ukulele and rubber ducks!
